Bottle update: Elizabeth has taken a bottle the last three mornings…and she’s sleeping through the night again. Sunday and Monday nights she woke up at about 4 but we didn’t want to feed her because we wanted her to be good and hungry to take the bottle in the morning, so Derek just changed her diaper, and she went right back to sleep. Last night we put her down at 8, and she woke up at 6! Yay! Yesterday I tried to give her another bottle later in the morning, but she would have none of it. My neighbor Katie was able to give her 2 oz before dinner, though… So today I tried again, and she took another bottle mid-morning! The trick seems to be that it has to be freshly pumped or thoroughly warmed. Date nights away from the kids, here we come!
So with the lovely weather we had until this morning’s rain, we’ve been playing outside with our neighbors quite a bit. We love summer!
