Knowing that Tommy was going to get nine books for his birthday, I planned a super-light school day to let him read them. =) The weather even cooperated, drizzling most of the day so that it was the perfect weather to curl up with a good book. I love that my kids are readers! For some reason, though, this kid makes more of a mess eating than any of his little sisters…
Not that they’re exactly models of ladylike meekness, themselves. It was Elizabeth’s idea to get him extra ammo and safety goggles for the nerf machine gun he got from Matthew. And although it’s bigger than Q or Bug, they happily drag it to him when asked.
Books and nerf guns. Yep. He’s ours.
