Bottle update, because I know everyone’s dying to know how Lizzie’s doing with that…last night Laura came over to hold down the fort for an hour and a half after the kids were in bed. I told her she’d probably be able to study in peace and quiet…but after Tommy sent over a small avalanche of books in his room while he was supposed to be sleeping, his sister woke up and screamed. I hadn’t even bothered to pump and leave a bottle because I thought she’d just sleep through while we were out, but fortunately I’d mentioned that we did have milk in the freezer in case of an emergency. An emergency it was, and Laura thawed two bags, found the bottles (which I hadn’t even shown her), and fed our girl 4 ounces! I was so excited when I came home. Okay, I felt really bad for Laura, who had been expecting an easy, quiet night, but I was SO happy that Lizzie took a bottle that wasn’t freshly pumped OR given to her by me! I have been overly optimistic in the past (like when I thought she was on to bottles and left one with my neighbor that she wouldn’t take and screamed about for the whole hour and a half that I was gone at pilates, scarring Juliet and Ava for about a week), but I think we may be getting closer to bottle freedom!
After the escapades of last night, the kids had a good morning, though–I love to see them reading together!

Yeah for Lizzie and her bottle!!!!
Cute!!
I think the picture of Lizzie looking at the book with Tommy is the cutest yet.
