While Mariel and her Derek were here, we checked out the Lincoln Square Apple Festival and picked up a half bushel of apples! The Dereks dueled to see who could peel apples the fastest while Mariel and I made up three apple pies and a huge vat of applesauce. We’re thinking of going into pie making business… =)
