Thanks!!! Seems like a nice, neutral space (albeit with an abundance of glass and china). LOVE the sun room!!! What do you think about the “great room” concept verses having separate spaces for living, dining, cooking? That green grass out front and the open windows in August makes me miss the Midwest!

I think the great room works here because the furniture is already in, clearly delineating the spaces. I would be confused as to how to decorate and arrange the space if I were coming in to an empty space. I actually hadn’t even realized it was a big open concept space until you mentioned it. I also think that I don’t mind as much because we have the big room downstairs and the sun room to send the kids off to play. It would be harder to deal with noise and mess if I didn’t have a basement in which to relegate the toys. I will say that I spend so much of my life in the kitchen that I like it being open to the rest of the house so I can keep a pulse on everything else going on. And I love having a school table that is separate from our eating table. We’re trying to clear it off when we finish our stuff for the day, but it nice to have the opt of leaving out a project overnight if we need to, not worrying about where to eat!
