This weekend, the Hwangs came over to swim and barbecue with us and left Jonathan to spend the night for the first sleepover for both boys! The Hwang boys are such kindred spirits–Jeremiah came in our house and promptly asked me for a dictionary to read (which he then did), and Jonathan regaled the kids at dinner with the plotline of Titus Andronicus (to which our kids listened, enraptured). Tommy and Jonathan played games until bedtime, then I heard them up by 6 am, playing more games before we left for church. They apparently created their own version of Labyrinth–Battle Labyrinth!–with rules made up as they went along.
Overheard just after I took this picture:
Tommy: Actually, I made the maze impossible to get out of. (High pitched laughter as he cracks himself up.)
Jonathan: I like the way you think!
