Daikon radish–I guess those weird long white things?

Tondo squash
and a surprise jar of strawberry sauce!

    Ooh, I’ve always wanted to try daikon but never have – can’t justify buying a more expensive vegetable if I don’t know if I and Derek will like it. I found a couple recipes using it that don’t look too complicated:

    My brief searching also revealed it’s also popular as a pickle, but I don’t know how you’d feel about that…
