Well, this whole taking-a-break-from-potty-training thing has been working great! This morning Tommy told us he wanted to use the potty, so he took off his pj’s and pull-up and used the potty. Then he dumped it, rinsed it, washed his hands and brushed his teeth, put on a new pull-up, picked out new pants and put them on (backwards, but he doesn’t care), picked out a fleece, and put it on with just a tiny bit of help from me! Now if we can just work on the crying-for-an-hour-when-the-babysitter-comes-over issue, we’ll be good!

Yay Tommy! This makes me happy… and a little sad. It’s just a sign that they are growing up (which is happy… and sad). Sam is getting pretty good about stripping for bath time, but he still hates getting dressed. Too bad we don’t live in the tropics or the desert anymore!
