I never really fell out of love with dresses, but it’s been so cold for so long that I’ve been doing tights under pants for Elizabeth for the past few months. When I pulled out her green dress for St Patrick’s Day, though, I loved the sight of her crawling around in a poofy skirt so much that I pulled out all the other dresses from our neighbor and plan to have her wear them, one after another, for the next couple of weeks. This warm weather makes me want to pull my pre-pregnancy skirts out, too, but I think I need a couple more dedicated weeks on the treadmill before subjecting myself to the possible heartbreak of still not fitting back into them. Elizabeth’s chubby thighs are cute, so I’ll concentrate on her for now!

I told Lee just the other day that I think I’m only going buy dresses for Margaret for this summer, since it’s ALL that she ever wants to wear. Tights were troublesome when it came to using the toilet by herself this winter, so I finally went out and got her several pair of leggings–and she’s been asking for weeks to just wear dresses and leggings EVERY day! So I finally realized that I shouldn’t even bother with shorts… we’ll try a season of dresses and see how it goes!
