Well, actually, there are at least two. I’ve been hearing them in the basement, but Derek actually saw them this morning. Feeling a bit grossed out. Hoping the mouse houses work. And that Derek’s around to dispose of them if/when we catch them. Yuck.

We had one in the pantry a couple months ago. All it took for us was a couple regular mouse traps baited with peanut butter – but, we knew exactly where they were coming in. After the traps killed one I plugged the hole with steel wool and we haven’t had more problems. If you don’t know where they’re coming in, though, a different method might work better. Gross!
