Our lifegroup met at Welch pool yesterday afternoon, and the kids loved it! Heidi took several pictures with her waterproof camera, and here’s a sneak peek of Elizabeth.
If I have a chance, I’ll try to resize a few more…
I have so many little matters to tell you of, that I cannot wait any longer before I begin to put them down.

Love this picture of Lizzie! Can you send me the picture too?! Thanks and have a wonderful day!!
There are few things cuter than a toddler girl in a toddler swimsuit!! Cute, cute, cute!!!
Great pic. and I love the swimsuit. I had such a hard time finding a onepiece swimsuit for Christina that did not have disney characters on it!! Plenty of two pieces, but I won’t even get started on how much little kids in bikinis bothers me!! Hope you guys are doing well preparing for the move.
Hi again. I revisited your post on the top 100 children’s books for library inspiration (we’re in a rut). Anyhow, I wanted to add something re our discussion of Hodges’ Saint George but the comment window wasn’t available. So I’m leaving the comment here. Basically, I just wanted to say that shortly after I read that post, I talked to my older sister, who tends to be more stodgy than me about children’s book. However, she was surprised by my concerns about Hodges book and said that it was her oldest boy’s favorite book when he was three! With you and her both on the side of the book, I’m thinking it is a great story, overall, especially for boys who love fighting and dragons and such. And maybe the naked fairies aren’t such a problem. 🙂
Alison–I totally agree with you on the babes in bikinis issue! I was in a message board conversation this week in which I was the ONLY one who had an issue with it.=) I think this swimsuit was a hand-me-down from our Chicago neighbors, so it’s probably 3 years old, but it was from Target (circo brand).
Bethany–Sorry about that comment issue–Derek set them up to disable after a few weeks as a spam control (I think). I’m looking forward to re-visiting your book lists in CA with new libraries (hopefully, ones with better selection than here–every time I went in with one of your lists, less than half were there…)!
