Tommy’s Recent Artwork

One of the best discoveries of our cross-country trek was that the kids love spiral notebooks.  At 14 cents apiece during back-to-school sales, it’s a pretty cheap way to keep the kids happy.  Tommy completes an average of one 80 page notebook every 2-3 days.  Here are some of his recent creations (with some additional pictures for laughs):

I think I mentioned before how Tommy will prop up a DVD case on the table and copy every detail he can.  He’s spent a lot of time perfecting the Walt Disney D and Y.

Of course, he still has plenty of baseball pictures…

And there’s always Robin Hood…

Eve (from Wall-E) and a McQueen truck in one picture!

I think this next one is the baseball player-American Girl truck, but I’m not positive.

There are dozens of portraits of Wall-E.

And when he runs out of notebook, he raids the craft drawer and continues on construction paper.  His matchbox cars are another great copying prop.

While we were still at the Reagan library this weekend, he informed us that he wanted to draw a picture of Air Force One.  This was completed within minutes of arriving back home.

And this is a portrait of Uncle John.  I think I see some Hergé influence here.
