Well, after Tommy’s morning dirty diaper, I showed him the new potty chair I bought last night (we realized that the cheapo one I bought before doesn’t have a splash guard–that’s a no go with a boy!). He immediately wanted to try it out, and once again, we had success! He clapped his hands and kept saying, “more!” So we called Daddy to tell him the good news, and now he’s getting rewarded by getting to watch youtube videos of his friend Margaret. I’m going to keep my expectations very low, but I’m excited that he’s showing interest!

Good boy Tommy! I bought Aidan a potty last weekend (WITH a splash guard) and he’s done pretty great too! He sits and reads books and gets a treat when he goes! Our boys are getting so big! Yay for potty going dudes!
Dude–I have no idea how he’s figured out how to do that! Potty training is still a major issue with Ellie…
Youtube videos as a reward? Tommy’s certainly a 21st century child. 🙂
He shames the girl he is watching, as she’s eight months older and still hasn’t had as many “potty successes” as he has! I’m hoping to call and catch up very soon… hopefully in the next couple of days!
