If you aren’t already trying to read everything Rachel Jankovic writes, then you might not have read her latest post, “On never being done.” I’m sorry.
I just love how she speaks right to me in the trenches of being a mom-of-little-kids. Here’s my favorite part:
But the truth is, it isn’t so much about “getting it all done,” it is about keeping on doing it. Much like sanctification, it is not something at which you arrive. Not anymore. I used to be a person who loved to make everything perfect and then enjoy it without messing it up. God wanted me to get a bigger perspective, so I have a lot of children.
