So today we had a little boy Tommy’s age over to play. Our lunchtime conversation totally cracked me up, but I can’t put it on facebook because his mom is my facebook friend and would probably be mortified!
Him (sitting down for lunch): Don’t you ever sweep this place?
Me (handing out sandwiches): Yep, all the time.
Him (looking disgustedly under his chair): Well, who does the sweeping?
Me (trying to keep a straight face): Me.
Him: Well, maybe you need to get a new broom.
(That’s what I get for being a sub-par housekeeper–even six year olds notice the mess! Though as I swept under the table after lunch, I cracked up that his place was by far the crumbiest!)
That is awesome!!! From the mouths of babes…
Next time hand him the broom! So funny!!!
I think about this every time I look under our table! I love it! Especially the fact that his suggestion wasn’t that you sweep more, but that you might need a new broom… it’s not your fault, it’s that inefficient broom!
Too funny!!
