When another Pepperdine homeschool family asked us if we wanted to hit up the pumpkin patch, we didn’t have to think twice! The kids love Underwood Farms, and we spent another three hours there on Monday!
If festive pictures are this hard with three kids, should I even bother trying with four?
Evelyn and Marianne are big fans of the rides, so we tried out the train (much more fun than last year!) and the pony ride (which helped us understand the threshing machine described at the end of Little House in the Big Woods–too cool!).
And Susie LOVED pretending to drive the farm equipment!
It is, in fact, easier to do photo shoots when there are two moms to corral babies and click away nonstop with their DSLRs!
The beginning of a fall tradition?
