I had Tommy take a picture of my belly this morning. Yep, I’m definitely in whale stage. I weigh now what I weighed the day Tommy was born. (I guess zofran saving me from losing the usual 8-10 lbs in the first trimester is coming back to bite me…) The baby is still moving around quite a bit, though his or her two favorite places to kick seem to be my bladder and my stomach. Both issues wake me up in the night. I gave in and put the tums right on the kitchen counter this weekend. I go from starving to stuffed in about two bites. And two of the kids are throwing fits right now, so that is all the update I have time to give.

I agree that you look great! And I hope you’re not worrying yourself about the weight. It’s a beautiful thing to be birthing these babies and it’s not like your weight is unhealthy by any means. I am excited to find out if the baby is a boy or a girl! What is your exact due date?
The duedate is funny. We thought it was in the 13-16th range, but my early ultrasound measurements gave me March 20. My most recent ultrasound measured at March 16 again. Since I tend to be late, we’re assuming it will be around the 20th, and my parents are coming out the 21st!
Oh, Emily… whale stage?? You look BEAUTIFUL — you look like you’re just ALL baby with that adorable bump! And you’ve definitely got the glow! So happy for you, Derek, and the kids. You do look beautiful! I didn’t realize you were 30 weeks already–crazy how fast it goes! If it’s any consolation–I’ve put on a ton of weight already, too, and I’ve got a long way to go still….
