I had never dyed eggs with the kids before. I know, I’m a horrible mom in the arts and crafts department. But with three extra sets of hands around this week, I figured it was a good year to start! We did the basic crayons-and-food-coloring kind, and the kids got a huge kick out of eating their handiwork for lunch the next day!

I haven’t done it either! Don’t feel guilty! 🙂 Gosh, Emily… there are worse things in life than not decorating easter eggs. And there will be plenty of time for things like that later…when they will actually remember it! 🙂
Happy Easter to you all!!! The only Easter thing I managed to scrape together this year is the empty tomb rolls. Have you seen those? (And actually, I haven’t done them yet… I just anticipate doing them) http://allrecipes.com/recipe/resurrection-rolls/
