Derek’s parents had one last day on their membership to the Henry Ford/Greenfield Village, so we squeezed in a trip to the museum while everyone was in town! They have all sorts of vehicles there, including a bunch of train cars…
Tommy loved all the cars, of course, and Elizabeth was super excited to see a real Tin Lizzie! In her words, Ta Da!
The through the years displays were fun, especially when the kids got to drive the old cars!
The Wienermobile was Tommy’s favorite thing in the whole museum, better even than the cars in which Reagan and Kennedy were shot. This is actually the closest we got to a full family picture the whole time Jason and Jen were here…which I find hilarious. We’ll just have to have a cousin get married or something in the next year so that we all come together again sometime soon for a family shot without an oversized hot dog in the background.
