Derek surprised me for my birthday by arranging for Elizabeth to take me to the Tea Room for a birthday tea! It was a great place for a date with a little girl–an armoire full of dress-up dresses, trunks of slippers, feather boas, and gloves, and dozens of hats to try on! They served Elizabeth her lemonade in a real Crown Dorset tea pot, and she was on her absolute best behavior, sipping daintily with her pinkie out and everything. We had an absolutely delightful afternoon!

Such a little lady! What a precious and memorable afternoon!
Your husband knows you well!! What a perfect way to spend your birthday!
So cute! Pretty sure Ailey would rather go to a monster truck rally. Sigh. She is not a girly girl at all! 🙂 How fun for you!!!!
