Elizabeth was pronounced “perfect” at her one-week check-up this morning.
She’s back up to 7 lbs 11 oz (she left the hospital at 7 lbs 5 oz), so she’s growing well. This nurse measured her at 20 1/4 inches, which either means she’s grown 1/4 inch in a week or that the nurses who are measuring her weren’t consistent. We’ll go in for a routine weight check next Wed to make sure she’s back to her birth weight!

So… i know it’s hard to tell who babies look like, but I think Elizabeth looks like you. And Tommy looks like Derek. That’s cool 🙂
I want to call you, but my phone is currently MIA. In all the craziness of traveling I misplaced it. And it’s turned off, so I can’t call it to find it. ARG.

ps. Can we have a phone date soon? When’s a good time to call so I don’t wake up little Lizzie… or napping family? 😉
I think I will be ready to try calling people again tomorrow morning…as long as things go okay tonight! Mornings tend to be best because Tommy is happy to play with Grandma and Elizabeth is sleeping. Afternoons are more complicated because Tommy is crabby and I want to sleep! =)
