Guess who turns six months today?!
Jane-bug is much larger than Susie was. She’s been in size 2 disposables and is growing into medium cloth diapers. She’s still wearing 3-6 month clothes, but many of them are getting tight in cloth diapers. I will probably be pulling out her next bin of clothes in the next week or two. She’s on three naps a day, though they get pretty messed up when we’re out and about.
She is starting to get better at sitting up by herself, rolls everywhere, and smiles at us from across the room. She’s much more aware of people and activity around her, so it’s getting harder to get her to take a nap when we’re on the go or in the church nursery.
She’s eating two meals a day on top of her nursing. I haven’t dropped any breastfeedings yet because she seems hungry quite often. So far she’s tried rice, oatmeal, peaches, apples, green beans, carrots, and cinnamon (because all I had on the go was cinnamon applesauce pouches a few times in there!). She takes after the older two and seems to like food a lot! I need to get my act together and make up some more kinds of baby food.
We get a lot of comments about her blue eyes…and how much she looks like her brother!
