Elizabeth wanted a birthday party this year, and I didn’t have a new baby as an excuse. So we went all out with the all-girls theme, inviting two other homeschooling families of girls over for a “ballerina-princess-dancing” party. Lizzie was in heaven. Tommy retreated to his room, shut the door, and did not show his face again until everyone was gone!
I splurged and bought some ballet decorations online this year. But the roses are from our bushes!
