That’s newsworthy here! We showed at for church on Sunday in our normal SoCal garb–sleeveless dresses and sandals, polo and shorts–and several people told us we had underdressed the children because it was a chilly 60 degrees. It rained during the service (though fortunately not when we had to go to four different buildings to collect the kids from children’s church), and yesterday, it rained in the morning and stayed overcast all day. I actually had to run and turn off our sprinklers, prompting Elizabeth to ask if the drought was over. This morning it’s raining again, steadily! What to do with ourselves? Why snuggle up on the couch, of course. The novelty of inclement weather has yet to lose its charm.
