Last night, I whipped up a flourless chocolate cake so that Susie would have something special for dessert. Note how both her siblings are helping her blow out her candle. Yum, eggplant parmesan and cake! That’s a combo to enjoy!

Yesterday we met up with Ariana and the kids for another trip to the Santa Barbara Zoo! Other than running around with Abby, the highlight was finally getting to ride the zoo train!
When you are tired of playing with your own toys, just turn to your older siblings’ stuff. Can you tell how excited Elizabeth was (2 seconds before this picture was taken) to run around in her brother’s old Little Bear costume? And Susanna seriously has a crush on Elizabeth’s purses!
