The neighbor kids are big fans of getting into their parents’ garages and setting up campsites with cones, beach towels, umbrellas, and toys. It’s 6:45, and the kids are still out, camping.

What is it with kids and making homemade confetti???? and the Shaffers hosted an egg-decorating party in their garage this morning. Fourteen kids dyeing dozens and dozens of eggs…craziness!
For Tommy’s birthday, he and his band of 13 other brave men quested to complete 9 labors for glory, honor, and cupcakes. Labor One: Create shields using duct tape. (Perfect for using up old packing boxes!) Labor Two: Fight the evil one-eyed cyclops monster using only their swords. (Cyclops ended up flying away in terror…) […]

Today we hosted the Zirrettas for an afternoon playdate and the Andersons for pizza and movie night, so Elizabeth (of her own volition) cleaned up the house for me while Tommy and I were finishing up French. Here’s the cleaned up living room and library!
