John is getting married today, so I’ll catch up on this week and post wedding pictures next week. My parents resurrected the traditional Willett family scavenger hunt this Christmas–with separate hunts for the big kids (eg, those in their 20s and 30s) and the small kids (eg, the under-7 crew). Tommy really got into it!

Daddy was gone ’til late last night, so we did baths and coloring time while listening to Christmas carols and Jesse Tree readings. And Tommy is working on a new novel, with a scintillating title!
Since we’re currently without a church home, our only Christmas program this year was the one the kids did at CBS. Janie had a meltdown in the nursery, so I had to hold her during the program and couldn’t inch around to get good pictures. Good thing everyone else in the world has smart phones […]

We walked down the road to get our tree again this year. Outtake of our Christmas card photo The kids were helpful, as always. And Susie screamed all the way home and for the next 45 minutes at home. Good times.
And his sister ran to get her dancing outfit on: nightgown, jewelry, headband: Then Elizabeth apparently took over. I was force feeding Susie her dinner, so I didn’t know about it until this morning. My kids are something else.
