Today was Tommy’s last day in our Manderly Drive house. I was so sad about all the “lasts”…last night in his room, last playtime in the basement, last climb up the stairs, last nap in St Louis. I told him to say “bye-bye” to our house, but he was so excited to get into the […]

Today Tommy is 18 months and one day old. He weighs 29 lbs. 5 oz. (80th %) He is 32 3/4 inches tall (60th %) His head diameter is 19 1/8 (don’t have a %, but the nurse said “wow”…) He is healthy and right on track developmentally. Praise God for his continued health and […]
So my computer is down (hence the relative silence this week and lack of pictures today), and Derek’s computer is having trouble getting on the internet, so this will be a short and sweet update. This morning Tommy awakened us at 6 am, probably because we weren’t the ones to put him to bed and […]
We’re home again in St Louis after a very full five days of midwestern adventures. Here are the highlights from our trip: Tommy’s first McDonalds Happy Meal (Grandma and I were SO excited, but he was unimpressed with the burger, milk, and apple dippers–and the lame toy. He just wanted to play in the outdoor playplace […]
So this is out of order with the previous posts, but Piko was with us all last weekend! He and Tommy had a grand time together… oh, and we liked having him around, too. We’ve got a guest room with your name on it in Chicago, Piko!

Homeschooling started early at the Muller home. We’re teaching Tommy body parts and a few baby signs. It seems like he’s learning new words everyday now!
When the Talcotts visited last week on their way to western adventures, we beat the heat by taking the kiddos to Tilles Park. The fountains were a big hit for Carver, Ellie, and Tommy!
Cars and Trucks and Things That Go
Posted in Tommy on Jul 17th, 2008
Tommy has become quite the little boy, seemingly overnight! He loves anything that has wheels attached…and most of his sounds are of the “vroom” and “choo-choo” variety. He even likes taking apart his truck to look at how its wheels work. Need I even mention that all of his favorite books right now involve cars […]
Still playing catch-up from last week’s dead battery lull… With John in town post-eye surgery, Tommy finally got to bond with his least-known uncle. I think the two share a similar sense of humor, and rumor has it that they love hanging out together….
My dear friend Katie Casey got to come spend the day with us last week! As she reminded me today, we’ve been friends since age 13–for half of our lives! I’ve loved the numerous visits from friends this summer, and Friday was no exception… hours of talking, many photo ops, lunch at Nadoz (I may be […]
