Elizabeth has been hanging out with us for 11 months today! She gets more fun every month. Recently she’s been crawling everywhere, pulling up on anything and everything, cruising along the couch or chairs, laughing at Tommy, waving to people (that was new this weekend), and enjoying eating solid foods. No baby food for this girl, thank you very much. She wants to feed herself everything. Recent favorites include melons, pineapple, strawberries, grapes, and cheese sticks. This girl loves cheese sticks. She won’t eat cheerios on her high chair, but on the floor, they become acceptable snack food. With no food allergies, she pretty much eats whatever we’re eating, whether ham and mashed potatoes, hamburger and pasta, eggplant parmesan, or homemade bread. She and I came to a mutual agreement this weekend that nursing was done. We are both happy with it. This morning we just snuggled in bed while she drank a bottle. A month and a half earlier than Tommy, but that’s okay. Despite our rocky roadtrip weekend, we have enjoyed just girl time without Tommy banging his bike into us, and this morning I’m working on invitations for her first birth-tea party (!). I love having this little girl around!

note the bib–such is the life of a second born! When your monogrammed burp rags and bibs are dirty, you get to use big brother’s…

This is a great shot of the two teeth!
