Today has been a lovely Saturday…this morning, we hit up the semi-lame Lincoln Square kid’s day. Lincoln Square wants to be cool, but they haven’t quite figured out how to actually have things going on at their special event days. Basically, we walked around. Tommy liked walking with Daddy.

And he got a pinwheel, which is very cool…

Then I went to this great parent swap thing up in the ‘burbs. You could bring kids or maternity items to donate before the sale, get tickets for them, then spend them like money at the actual rummage sale. I donated a bunch of maternity clothes I’d gotten at garage sales that just were too small this pregnancy (and certainly will be in subsequent ones). Then I picked up 6 pairs of pants, two pairs of shorts, tennis shoes in the next size up, a set of pajamas, and a nursing top. Because of my tickets, I only had to pay $3 for the lot! And Tommy’s 3T stash is growing for the fall…

Once it started raining, Derek made homemade spaghetti sauce for dinner, I napped, and Tommy read/listened to The Composer is Dead in the library. (We highly recommend this newest Lemony Snicket book, even for non-classical music people!)

I read that book to Tommy!
I want to see the clothes YOU got 🙂 And a “the baby’s comin’ soon” photo of your belly.
Oh, I only got stuff for Tommy, except the nursing top. I wouldn’t buy pants for myself right now if my life depended on it–far too depressing at this stage of pregnancy! I’ll have to see if there are any pictures of my enormous belly…I’m usually the one behind the camera, though!
