Gentle Readers,
It’s been a full weekend–Hannah and Piko were quickly followed by the Teagues returning from Rome last night! We’ve seen them safely onto the South Shore Line, and now I’m packing for Columbia, putting off shovelling the snow (pregnant women shouldn’t shovel much anyway, right?), getting the house ready for our next guests (Seth and Leann arrive the day after we get back!), and trying to organize online stuff since my parents’ internet may not be working while we’re there.
Since this might be the last blog post of 2008, let me take this opportunity to thank all of you for reading and for your encouragement and prayers over the past difficult year. Jane Austen wrote that life seems but a quick succession of busy nothings…thanks for expressing interest in ours!
