Sunday found us enjoying the familiarity of E Free, the comfort of Grandma and Grandpa’s house, and some quality time with Peter and Cammy (who are going to register this week if I have to drag them through the housewares section of Macys myself!). My big treat was an afternoon concert–The Academy of St Martin in the Fields with Julia Fischer came to the newly remodeled Missouri Theatre, and I got to go with my parents! They were on a 10-city tour of the US (can you believe they came here?!), and we hadn’t gotten to hear them since their last concert in Columbia when I was 15 or 16. Good music is amazing, and Julia Fischer is incredible. She’s younger than me, but they’re already calling her the greatest violinist of her generation. Yes, Mariel and Hannah, you would have loved it!Tommy’s obviously decided that 5:30 am is a good time to wake up here. And that’s all for today!
