Lizzie had her four-month check-up today. She’s gone down a little on the growth charts (from 75th percentile to 50th for weight), but she’s still perfectly average, so we’re not concerned. She might be slowing down right now because of her lovely 13 hour nights. Yep, 13 hours. She’s been sleeping in ’til 8 the past couple of days. Hard to get more than four feedings in when she sleeps that much, but that’s okay if she continues to grow. I hadn’t been good about avoiding dairy this past week (impossible at the wedding), but her diapers were tested and came back clear of blood. This leads us to think that maybe she’s already outgrown her allergy or we misdiagnosed her before. The way to find out? I get to have dairy again! Yipee! We had pizza for dinner tonight. I love cheese… Anyway, back to Elizabeth, everything seemed fine. She had five vaccinations, and Tommy got his flu shot. Such a lot of cool bandaids on my kiddos!
Here are the stats:
height–24″ (50%)
weight–13 lbs. 11 oz. (55 %)
Now that she’s rolling both ways, she always rolls to her tummy to sleep now and burrows up against the bumpers in her crib. Here’s how she looks these days when I go in and check on her! (Maybe the bare spot on the back of her head will start to grow back now…)

She looks so sweet and cuddly!!! I hope, hope, HOPE she is over the milk allergy!!! How wonderful that would be for you. And sleeping 13 hours a night for a 4 month old?!?! That’s amazing! 🙂
way to go Lizzie! Tripp needs to take some sleeping lessons from her! his sleeping through the night was very short lived (ended the second day after we got back from dallas) so the pediatrician said it is time to take away the pacifier and let him cry it out. that is what we will be up to this weekend 🙁 but i am glad Lizzie is doing so well!!
