When the weather’s particularly yucky, like today, it’s fun to have play dates planned with friends. Dana and I didn’t know about the snow storm when we planned to go to the Field Museum together today, but it ended up being great! I was the only fool braving foot-high drifts to get downtown, and we walked over from Dana’s to save parking (unfortunately, I forgot to put on my boots. My socks are still a bit damp). However, we were pretty much the only people in the whole museum. Tommy and Reagan had first pick of the play lab animal costumes, could run all over, look at any exhibits they wanted to, and be their rambunctious selves. I’m glad we’re taking advantage of museum free days while we can!
