I’m going to be really honest. The difference in my emotional state between living in an unfriendly, crowded, dirty big city and living in a welcoming, charming small college town is amazing. I already feel more at home here than I ever did there. We haven’t been here two months, and we’re already grilling out at the park with friends from church! Jenny told me about Spring Creek Park, “all the way” on the other side of town (taking us all of ten minutes to get there), so we met them for dinner there on Friday night to check it out! Tommy told me within minutes of arrival that “Susannah and Ellie’s park” is his new favorite park. Look for a lot of pictures from here in the months to come…

I am so glad. It’s like how we feel about Richmond.
You suburban snob!! 😉 (j/k)
Glad this town feels like home. That’s so important.
Well, I’m not sure State College counts as suburban, though there IS a drive-through Starbucks near our house… =)
Great pictures!
