Today we finally got Elizabeth in to see an allergist about her egg white allergy. She’d reacted when I introduced it at a year, and she had a positive blood allergy test back in August, but today her skin test was all clear. (We also tested today for peanut, given Derek’s strong allergy and the mild one that Tommy outgrew, and that was also clear–not that it’s a big deal in our peanut-free house, but we are definitely going to do some Mommy-daughter bonding over Reeses Peanut Butter Cup Blizzards one day…) We have the go-ahead to introduce full eggs into her diet, so I’m pondering what baked treat to make tonight (or maybe do a breakfast-for-dinner night with waffles where I don’t have to make two separate batches for Elizabeth and the rest of us!!!!). Thank you, Lord, for two allergy-free kiddos!
