In the past day and a half, Elizabeth has developed an obsession with one particular hair bow. She calls it the BOW. She wants it in her hair all the time. If it comes out (often due to her pulling), she comes screeching to me, “Mommy! The BOW! The BOW! The BOW!” And I put it back in–sometimes to the side, sometimes straight back. Unfortunately, her hair is so fine that anything I put in it comes out pretty quickly, so this has been repeated already 20 times this morning. Moms of girls, any hints for keeping hair clips in longer than 10 minutes?

No tips. Christina won’t let me put any clips in her hair!! So now bows here. Sigh!!
Evangeline’s hair is the same way. Have you tried tying her hair back with a tiny, clear rubber band (I think they sell them at Walmart) and then putting the clip between the scalp and the rubber band?
Glue!
The little clear rubber bands that Bethany is suggesting work great! They are also very inexpensive.
