Since Grandma and Grandpa Muller won’t be here for Elizabeth’s actual birthday, we started the celebrations early. Tommy helped Grandma make banana cupcakes in the teacup molds, and they were a big hit! This year Elizabeth actually got that they were teacups…unlike last year, when the whole cupcake thing confused her. Stay tuned for another birth-tea party next month!

I enjoyed comparing the pics from last year and this year. I especially enjoyed the following comment you made: “Sigh. I think I’m destined to have tomboy daughters, if only because I can’t relate. She already likes Tommy’s cars more than her dolls.” How things can change in such a short time. Now she is all about dresses, bows, and purses.
