Tommy is so proud of his ever-increasing reading skills, and thanks to a recommendation from Anna, I ordered some early readers that contain only short vowel sounds (which is how far we’ve gotten in phonics thus far). The first set arrived Tuesday evening, and ever since, Tommy has been proudly reading them to his sister! It’s a good thing, too, because Susanna has been super crabby of late and needs more one-on-one attention until she gets over her cold.
