It was a long trip (with no carsickness!), but the kids are already happily digging in the dirt in the back yard, a friend is running to TJ’s for me to pick up some milk and eggs, and Susie is currently pulling everything out of our play kitchen. Now Derek and I just have to do a couple dozen loads of laundry and put a thousand things away, and things will be back to normal.

Yes, welcome back home! I am so glad you didn’t have to deal with car sickness. I was thinking about you over the weekend — we took the boys down to Indy to explore the children’s museum (there was a Lego exhibit!) and then drove up to St. Joe to the beach. We were gone 3 days and I packed everything but the kitchen sink. I cannot even IMAGINE the packing you had to do! You are so brave!
