It’s taking me a while to get caught up, but here are the three girls yesterday afternoon, just as we got home (about 27 hours old).
And here are a couple pictures from today, just around the 48 hour mark.
It was nice to come home, but she ate right before we left the hospital at 2:30 and then didn’t again until 7:30. I hadn’t slept at all at the hospital that first night, and I fed her what I hoped was one more time before going to bed at 9:30. We were up pretty much every hour through the night, though Derek did take her out to the living room from 1:30-3:30 so I finally got a couple hours of sleep. She doesn’t like to be fed and then set down. She just wants to be held. I think we have another little Tommy on our hands… Hoping she starts doing better once my milk comes in.

She’s beautiful, Em! The first picture made me cry… even if you’re so tired you can’t stand up straight, try to remember how blessed you are. Prayers for more sleep ASAP 🙂
The first and last pictures didn’t come through! Could you please try e-mailing them to me! Thank you!!! Hope you are having a good day – get lots of rest while you have help!!!
I haven’t been near a computer much since you had the baby, so I’m only now saying many congratulations! She is darling. Look at all that hair!! I’m glad she here is safe and sound and that you are healthy and well too. I love her name. Well chosen. May the Lord grow her into a woman of grace, virtue, and beauty. May she be a blessing to her family and many others!
