She found it the day we got home (last Tuesday), and she’s looked like this more and more each day.
So far, neither thumb seems to be preferred, though both her sisters only suck their right one. I guess all three of our girls are destined for braces…
Interesting how some kids gravitate towards the thumb. It seems to really be hit or miss. My sister was a thumb sucker and I was never even remotely interested in my thumb. Same with the babies I have taken care of over the years. Some of them are avid thumb suckers and the others could care less.
Both Penny and I were thumb suckers, but Penny never had to have braces… if it makes you feel any better. All 3 of our kids suck either their thumbs or their fingers – only time will tell whether they inherited Penny’s straight teeth or my moveable teeth!
