I took Janie in for her six month check-up today, and because I’m not trying to be a hero, I left the big three at home with a babysitter. (Jesus, thank you that Hannah gets out of class at noon this year!) She has a cold, so we’re waiting ’til next week to get her shots. Otherwise, she’s great!
weight: 15 lbs 10 oz (40%) (Tommy was 17 lbs 13 oz, Elizabeth was 15 lbs 12 oz, Susanna was 13 lb 11.5 oz)
height: 26.5 inches (74%) (Tommy was 25 inches, Elizabeth was 27-1/4 inches, Susanna was 26 inches)
head: 16.75 in (60%) (Susanna was 16.5 inches)
I took Alex in for his one-month checkup today, and he’s one pound less than Suzie was at six months! Crazy 🙂
I just saw your post with that stat on facebook. Hilarious! How big was Margaret at 1 month? She had the most delightful rolls.
Since I don’t have a nicely organized blog to track these things, I have to dig out M’s baby book to say for sure, but I’m quite certain that she did not gain weight this quickly! This guy is already in 3-6 month clothing… some of it is still a little big on him, but the 0-3 clothing was definitely far too short already in the legs and torso!
What a big boy! Tommy was into 3-6 month stuff around a month, too.
Glad you had a babysitter to give you a quiet sane doctor’s appt!!!
