As far as I know, hot dogs didn’t exist in the nineteenth century, but Farmer Boy sure liked to eat, so that’s our tie-in.
Traditional “This baby looks good enough to eat!” picture…
Every time we put a baby in this hot dog, I think it’s the best frivolous $15 I’ve ever spent.

I kept meaning to make them bonnets and just didn’t get my act together in time, so I ordered them off of etsy. There’s a seller who makes all kinds of historical costume pieces who lives in SoCal. Next year I’m going to plan ahead better and have costumes made by September… Oh well, we’ve really been getting our money’s worth out of the bonnets!
