Meanwhile, the girls and I dealt with 103 degree heat (and power outages) by…doing nothing. Seriously. We went to JoAnn’s and got fabric to sew dresses, costumes, and Christmas pajamas, and Elizabeth’s sewing machine has been out for two days, but they just wanted to play. So I let them. And we’ll be forcing ourselves back to normal routines (and putting away the sewing machine) this afternoon when the boys get home!
