This week

Our card reader is not reading again, so pictures are going to have to keep waiting.  I.hate.this.computer.

And I’m sick of waiting for a working dishwasher.  Ours has been spewing water all over the kitchen floor for weeks, but by the time I called the repairman and got him out, I was super sick of the mess.  Then he ordered parts and after a 10 day wait, another guy came yesterday to install them, only to figure out we needed yet another part.  No dishwasher until he comes next Tuesday to install that.

Meanwhile, our sink went out over the weekend, and I had to inflict paper plates and plasticware on Matthew for his whole visit.  What’s the good of visiting your brother if your sister-in-law can’t cook you real meals on real dishes?  The cute nephew and nieces, I guess.  We did pull out Grandma’s fine china and the silver for Easter dinner–and Matthew spent an hour washing dishes after the company left!  Muller men are Quality Guys, no two ways about it.

The plumber fixed the sink after a brief four day wait, but I’m now expecting something else to go wrong with the dishwasher next week.  Add in the drought and our dying lawn, the broken sliding glass, screen, and garage doors (the last of which two separate companies have told our landlord to replace, but he resists because he installed it himself 20 years ago), I’m really ready for a break from house issues!  What’s next–puzzle pieces clogging the toilet?!

In other news, Janie is napping on the futon (not her crib), Susie is only having one accident a day, Elizabeth has totally regressed on her finger sucking, and Tommy is having a fun week at soccer camp.

That’s us this week!
