Yesterday was a blur, but it all ended well. We left at 4:30 am after a sleepless night for me and a restless night for Susie and Derek. Everything went smoothly at the hospital, the surgery went as planned, and by noon we were back in recovery with our little Q. She threw up at the hospital and in the car on the way home (from the anesthesia), took a 4 hour nap, and was ready to play with her Miller and Francisco friends!
Then today she totally resumed normal activities, going to the beach with the other kids and playing and baking with the rest of the girls. She begged us to take off the big bandage and now is just sporting adhesive gauze. Praise God for one successful surgery down, hopefully just one more to go!
Well she looks pretty much back to normal! So glad she is recovering so quickly – God heard everyone’s prayers for her!!
