We spent our last weekend in the Midwest in St Louis, hanging out with the Carruthers and visiting the St Louis Science Center for their 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing party, followed by the girls’ first trip to the Arch (and the Museum of Westward Expansion, which used to be a celebration of westward expansion, but now features an apologetic multi-room examination of the evils of Manifest Destiny).
