A little trip on the sidewalk, and we were back to this lovely gap… Fortunately, the dentist’s office was able to get her in on Wednesday and fixed it free of charge since it had been less than two years since the last repair.
I was trying to take some pictures of Susanna for her 2 year update, and the big kids insisted on getting in on the action. But they were in silly moods, as you can tell!
Thanks to my new donut pan and this recipe from pinterest, we had a quick and yummy dessert treat tonight!
All three girls got matching Easter dresses from Grandma Muller, so I finally got them all reasonably clean and wearing them at the same time for a quick little backyard photo shoot. Daddy and Tommy obliged by finding props in the yard.
Hot Cross Buns for breakfast…the things you can bake when you’re up at 3 am with a newborn… All three big kids got really excited about the Easter Egg Hunt! Meanwhile, Janie got in some last snuggles with Grandpa and Grandma.

Since Janie’s cord stump fell off early, Tommy and Lizzie helped give her a real bath yesterday afternoon. It wasn’t too traumatic.
I tried to take some newborn pictures of Janie today using tips from books I’ve gotten from the library and several photography blogs, but I just managed to have 300 overexposed (?) pictures. Instead of showing you those, which frustrated me to tears, here are the kids, posing on their own!
