Derek won his first case today, so to celebrate, Tommy and I made him chocolate chip cookies! Tommy has become obsessed with cooking and baking–as soon as I tell him it’s time to eat, he says, “I help!” and pulls over the chair to stand on. (And he gets upset when the task is something like cutting up raw chicken and he can’t help…) He made waffles for Hannah on Wed, muffins for Addy and Gabe on Thurs, and cookies today. I think we’ll have pancakes for breakfast so he can help more tomorrow…
